Welcome to the Governors’ page of Clatford school website. The purpose of our page is to bring you regular updates on the work that the Governing Body of Clatford School is undertaking, as well as news and information on what goes on behind the scenes at the school.

As we are a Church Aided School the Governing Body has more responsibility than the Governing Bodies of LEA managed schools. We are responsible, in conjunction with the Headteacher, for many of the areas normally associated with employers.   The Governors meet at least twice a term as a full Governing Body.   The committees of Finance, Personnel, Teaching and Learning and Premises, Health & Safety meet more frequently and we are involved in many projects and activities within the school.
